About the role
- Sort, inspect, price, and hang donated clothing and textiles
- Identify clothing brands and quality to support accurate pricing (training provided)
- Check items for stains, tears, missing buttons, or defects
- Meet daily production goals (approximately 80+ items per hour)
- Earn performance-based incentives by meeting or exceeding production standards
- Keep processing and sorting areas clean, safe, and organized
- Assist with apparel rotation, dressing rooms, and merchandise placement as needed
- Provide friendly customer service when interacting with donors or shoppers
- Follow all Goodwill safety, security, and operational policies
Requirements
- No experience required – paid training provided
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to identify clothing brands and quality levels (training provided)
- Basic math and pricing skills
- Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
