About the role
- Lead the strategic development, delivery and growth of a portfolio of national fundraising event products, ensuring plans are insight-led and supporter-focused
- Act as the product expert and single point of contact, owning product master plans, resolving issues and driving stakeholder alignment across the charity
- Build strong relationships and provide senior leadership to internal teams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability and delivery across all workstreams
- Use data, insight and market trends to set KPIs, monitor performance, evaluate ROI and continuously improve product outcomes
- Own and manage product budgets, including forecasting, re-forecasting, income and expenditure tracking
- Ensure exceptional supporter journeys from enquiry through to thanking, across multiple channels and in line with consent and compliance requirements
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies and fundraising platforms
- Keep a watching brief on the wider fundraising and events landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and new product development
- Support the delivery of safe, high-quality in-person event experiences, with participant wellbeing as a priority
- Lead on product evaluation, risk management and policy sign-off where appropriate
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, programme management or portfolio leadership, ideally within events, fundraising or supporter-led products
- Strong ability to develop and deliver insight-led strategies, using data, analysis and market understanding to drive performance and growth
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience leading through influence and securing buy-in at senior levels
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insight into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong understanding of supporter or customer journeys, including recruitment, engagement, stewardship and retention across multiple channels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and briefing skills, able to translate strategy into clear plans and guidance for a wide range of audiences
