About the role

  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning needs and design effective learning solutions.
  • Design, develop and deploy high-quality digital learning, including eLearning, microlearning, videos, animations and performance support resources.
  • Quality-assure and maintain learning content to ensure it is accurate, inclusive, accessible and up to date.
  • Use learning analytics, evaluation data and feedback to improve content and demonstrate impact.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design across all learning materials.
  • Support the use of the learning management system and promote learning across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Proven end-to-end instructional design experience, from needs analysis through to evaluation.
  • Strong technical skills using digital learning tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline, Adapt, Canva and animation tools (e.g. Vyond).
  • Knowledge of digital learning best practice, performance-based design and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
  • Experience using a learning management system.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and inclusive practice.
  • L&D qualification (e.g. CIPD) or equivalent experience (desirable).
