About the role

  • Develop and execute marketing programs specifically designed to drive expansion within existing accounts, showcasing the value of new features and services.
  • Create "expansion toolkits" for Sales teams, including targeted email sequences, "why upgrade" decks, and customer-only webinars.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to identify healthy accounts ready for expansion.
  • Design, launch, and manage MariaDB’s inaugural CAB program to foster deep partnerships with our most strategic customers.
  • Facilitate sessions between customer executives and MariaDB leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in a B2B technology company, preferably within the enterprise database or IT infrastructure space.
  • Proven track record of developing core messaging and content that generates customer engagement and improves sales effectiveness.
  • Ability to design marketing programs that contribute to expansion pipeline and customer retention.
  • Sufficient understanding of database technologies.
  • Travel up to 10%
