About the role
- Build out a consulting services team focused on accounting services
- Lead QuickBooks and MarginEdge training sessions with MarginEdge clients (new & existing) to set them up correctly on QuickBooks
- Assist clients with ad hoc accounting services
- Lead Finance Mastery sessions with clients
- Work on Commissary implementation projects advising best practices and ensuring compatibility with clients' accounting setups
- Answer bookkeeping questions including bank reconciliations and transaction posting guidance
- Provide accounting clean up services to get clients' books in top shape
- Review Chart of Accounts
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience using QuickBooks Online
- Experience using QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience in Restaurant/Hospitality accounting
- Worked with small - mid sized hospitality companies (from single units up to 10-20 units)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Exemplary communication skills
- Adaptable to change as we continue to grow and scale our business
- Can work as a team player but also as a solo artist at times
- Available to work part-time during 9am - 6pm EST Monday through Friday
- Empathetic and understanding to our clients' needs
- Ability to think on your feet and tailor our services to specific client needs
- Nice to Haves: Experience using R365, Sage Intacct, Netsuite
- Bonus points if you have used MarginEdge or any RMS at a Restaurant Group before
- Experience as a bookkeeper or accounting professional
