About the role

  • Build out a consulting services team focused on accounting services
  • Lead QuickBooks and MarginEdge training sessions with MarginEdge clients (new & existing) to set them up correctly on QuickBooks
  • Assist clients with ad hoc accounting services
  • Lead Finance Mastery sessions with clients
  • Work on Commissary implementation projects advising best practices and ensuring compatibility with clients' accounting setups
  • Answer bookkeeping questions including bank reconciliations and transaction posting guidance
  • Provide accounting clean up services to get clients' books in top shape
  • Review Chart of Accounts

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online
  • Experience using QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience in Restaurant/Hospitality accounting
  • Worked with small - mid sized hospitality companies (from single units up to 10-20 units)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Exemplary communication skills
  • Adaptable to change as we continue to grow and scale our business
  • Can work as a team player but also as a solo artist at times
  • Available to work part-time during 9am - 6pm EST Monday through Friday
  • Empathetic and understanding to our clients' needs
  • Ability to think on your feet and tailor our services to specific client needs
  • Nice to Haves: Experience using R365, Sage Intacct, Netsuite
  • Bonus points if you have used MarginEdge or any RMS at a Restaurant Group before
  • Experience as a bookkeeper or accounting professional
