About the role

  • Own end-to-end project lifecycle for a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, typically managing 2–4 large, complex projects and 10–12 smaller projects simultaneously.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource coordination.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing execution reviews to ensure progress against plan.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; drive corrective actions to resolution.
  • Evaluate and manage scope changes to ensure impact to timelines, cost, and resources is clearly understood and approved.
  • Ensure project documentation, artifacts, and approvals are complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Balance competing priorities across multiple projects to meet delivery commitments and operational objectives.
  • Provide clear, consistent project status reporting with focus on milestones, risks, blockers, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, IT, Sales, Finance, and Managed Services to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Serve as a decision-making authority within assigned projects, resolving issues and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and decisions as appropriate, with regular exposure and reporting to executive and senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and Managed Services Program standards, objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to program-level optimization initiatives.
  • Provide project oversight for initiatives involving Network Video Surveillance systems, cloud-based platforms, and managed services offerings.
  • Ensure technical deliverables related to system deployments, configurations, migrations, and integrations meet defined project requirements.
  • Validate installation plans, architecture documentation, and configuration standards as part of project governance.
  • Coordinate technical resources and facilitate issue resolution without acting as hands-on technical support.
  • Track and report on project performance metrics including timelines, milestones, delivery status, and resource utilization.
  • Prepare executive-ready project reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Support program-level initiatives, planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager, Program Development with strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Some travel required (can be up to 25% at peak times)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and extensive relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a technology, SaaS, managed services, or similar operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
