About the role

  • Support the IT organization by developing and managing digital strategic sourcing initiatives for software, hardware, and professional services
  • Lead sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reductions
  • Mitigate risk and negotiate contracts, while ensuring compliance and supporting business needs
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Collaborate with business units to assess requirements and develop sourcing/contracting strategies
  • Lead the RFx process (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
  • Manage supplier relationship management (SRM) for strategic suppliers
  • Oversee a portfolio of critical suppliers and execute category strategies for IT cybersecurity and hardware projects
  • Analyze bids, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery and performance
  • Interpret commercial, financial, and business data to minimize risk and recommend qualified contractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Finance, IT, or Engineering)
  • Master’s preferred
  • 4+ years IT sourcing experience (hardware, software, cloud, support)
  • 4+ years in purchasing, contracts, or commercial roles required
  • Experience negotiating with IT vendors; strong understanding of IT technologies
  • C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification beneficial
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, PowerBI, and Ariba
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; comfortable with ambiguity and change
