• Introducing, building, and maintaining automated testing suites (E2E, API, integration, and regression) for existing and new systems, using Playwright as the core technology
• Defining and implementing best practices, standards, and documentation for test automation, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability across teams
• Collaborating with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve the overall quality gate process
• Continuously auditing and evolving testing frameworks, promoting testability and automation-first principles in ongoing development
• Evaluating and integrating AI-assisted QA tooling, from LLM-driven test generation and intelligent test selection to AI-powered visual regression and root cause analysis, ensuring practical adoption where it delivers measurable value
• Mentoring, coaching, and upskilling manual QA specialists in automation approaches and effective testing strategies
• Championing an AI-first mindset within QA practices, helping team members effectively use AI tools for test creation, debugging, and test maintenance while establishing guidelines for responsible and productive AI usage
• Actively contributing to the QA Guild, sharing insights, driving process improvements, and helping shape the company-wide QA strategy
• Supporting development teams with quality metrics, root cause analysis, and structured feedback to enhance reliability, performance, and user experience.

Lead QA Automation Engineer

• Lead and develop customer support and knowledge management projects to enhance customer experience and self-service capabilities: including the adoption of ai-tools and processes to improve the efficiency and lower the resource profile of the Customer Support function within Mapon;
• Supervise the process of Help Center and customer-facing content development, ensuring quality, relevance, and usability;
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Technician and Customer Support teams to ensure timely information flow and aligned communication: helping to resolve systemic issues, and deliver industry-best customer experiences;
• Coordinate and support the work of the customer support specialists team: task prioritisation, quality control, and performance evaluation;
• Initiate improvements in customer experience processes based on data, customer feedback, and collaboration insights;
• Participate in testing new features and assist in preparing support materials prior to public releases.
