About the role
- Partner with HR leadership to design, enhance, and implement efficient, effective recruitment programs and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Consult with department leaders and supervisors to define hiring requirements, establish selection criteria, develop recruitment plans, and create service level agreements to ensure hiring success.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for positions at all levels, with a primary focus on complex, technical, and senior-level roles, including sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring leaders.
- Ensure open positions are actively marketed across multiple channels, including job boards, professional networks, schools, and other sourcing platforms.
- Provide informed hiring recommendations based on comprehensive candidate assessments and insights gathered throughout the interview process; support management in final selection decisions.
- Build and maintain strong candidate relationships, ensuring a positive experience throughout the hiring lifecycle—from offer through background checks and onboarding readiness.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external recruitment agencies, academic institutions, training programs, and professional organizations.
- Coordinate external recruitment schedules, attend job and career fairs, deliver presentations, and conduct off-site interviews as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare employment and recruiting data for reporting, workforce planning, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives; develop and maintain staffing metrics and dashboards.
- Contribute to a variety of Human Resources projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by HR leadership, including process improvements, integrations, and recruitment technology enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or professional-level knowledge in a specialized field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree equivalent plus 10 or more years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws, recruitment concepts, and best practices.
- Proven success in corporate recruiting with a demonstrated track record of building strategic partnerships, developing talent pipelines, and attracting high-caliber candidates.
- Strong ability and interest in collaborating cross-functionally to solve complex hiring challenges.
- Experience negotiating with recruitment agencies and external vendors.
- Project experience including recruitment technology integrations and upgrades, hiring events, and large-scale sourcing initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Solid PC proficiency and working knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems, collaboration tools, sourcing platforms, and data mining techniques.
- PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
