About the role

  • Independently adjust high‑exposure, complex casualty losses within granted authority.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations including recorded statements, site analysis, and witness canvassing.
  • Deliver timely, professional, empathetic communication to customers.
  • Maintain proficiency in multi‑state policies, case law, coverage analyses, and claims procedures.
  • Serve as a mentor/resource to less experienced adjusters and contribute to their development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus a certificate such as INS 21, 22, 23 (or equivalent), OR Associate's Degree plus 6–8 years related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical claims experience, including bodily injury and litigation handling.
  • Mastery of multiple lines of business and working knowledge of multi‑state policies.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required adjusting licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
