About the role
- Independently adjust high‑exposure, complex casualty losses within granted authority.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations including recorded statements, site analysis, and witness canvassing.
- Deliver timely, professional, empathetic communication to customers.
- Maintain proficiency in multi‑state policies, case law, coverage analyses, and claims procedures.
- Serve as a mentor/resource to less experienced adjusters and contribute to their development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus a certificate such as INS 21, 22, 23 (or equivalent), OR Associate's Degree plus 6–8 years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of technical claims experience, including bodily injury and litigation handling.
- Mastery of multiple lines of business and working knowledge of multi‑state policies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required adjusting licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
