Partnership Development: Collaborate with TPA Channel Directors to build joint business plans that drive mutual growth and success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales teams and business units to align efforts and maximize partner engagement.
Brand Advocacy: Elevate the Manulife John Hancock brand within the TPA ecosystem and serve as the primary liaison for assigned firms.
Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events and conferences, ensuring strong visibility and thought leadership.
Product & Market Expertise: Keep TPA partners informed about new products, services, and value propositions. Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Internal Influence: Advocate for TPA needs across internal initiatives and workgroups, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, tracking progress against KPIs and strategic objectives.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years in strategic business development within the retirement plan industry.
Series 6 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and retirement plan design.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in both public speaking and one-on-one settings.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
