About the role
- Provide operational support to the investment team, investor relations, and management teams across MIM PE&C’s investment programs.
- Monitor investment closings and loan servicing.
- Track, reconcile, and record all investment activity.
- Maintain databases of activity to update performance track record.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of electronic files.
- Reconcile all cash received from investors and investments to projections.
- Prepare cash flow projections for each investment and fund.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors.
- Monitor available capital for investments.
- Calculate and execute capital calls and distributions.
- Support performance measurement and reporting.
Requirements
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related major.
- 2+ years of professional experience at an alternative investment manager or fund administrator in an operational or financial support role.
- An understanding of private equity/credit investments and legal agreements.
- Working knowledge with Investran or similar reporting software.
- Advanced computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective business relationships at all levels.
- Motivated, analytical, and able to make sound judgments.
- Able to work both independently and as a team member effectively.
