About the role
- Assist the Director of Risk with risk governance and management program execution
- Facilitate implementation of operational risk standards and methodologies
- Collect and analyze risk data for actionable insights
- Identify emerging risks and strengthen oversight in operational risk categories
- Develop partnerships with business leaders to manage key risks
- Contribute to risk culture and accountability across the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of risk management, finance, and/or audit experience
- Strong working knowledge of one or more of Manulife’s Operational Risk Management Taxonomy categories
- Proven expertise in ORM concepts and practices (Risk and Control Self Assessments, Risk Indicators)
- Experience in developing and managing operational risk standards
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
