About the role

  • Develop, maintain, and expand both internal and external relationships within a specified geographic territory
  • Conduct strategic contact with mass market/mass affluent Financial Advisors and your territory partners
  • Dial out to Financial Advisors 40 times per day to educate them on investment lending products/strategies
  • Conduct meetings with advisors to drive sales and understand their practices
  • Educate the advisor on using investment leverage
  • Call Financial Advisors unfamiliar with Manulife Bank to integrate specialized lending solutions
  • Use Salesforce, cold calling, and AI-powered technologies for contacts
  • Achieve sales and activity goals set out in yearly plans
  • Assist in demonstrating to advisors how to fill applications and review them for business order
  • Assist with service cases and escalations from advisors and help address concerns and resolve issues
  • Participate in territory strategy discussions and develop quarterly and yearly business plans
  • Review and analyze sales data to ensure sales goals are met

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in banking/insurance
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience with growing a client base
  • Proven track record as a sales professional or high potential to become one
  • Ability to analyze sales data and reports
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Power BI, and Adobe platforms is an asset
  • Business planning and territory management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Banking, investment, and Insurance knowledge is an asset
  • A strong passion for learning and development
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
