About the role

  • Drive client growth for data center facility solutions related to building automation systems.
  • Identify and develop building management system (BMS) strategies that improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and energy performance.
  • Work closely with controls engineers, sales engineers, project managers, and client stakeholders to audit current systems, develop control strategies, build solution proposals, and close project opportunities.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand building infrastructure challenges and apply best-fit BMS building technologies.
  • Travel for on-site evaluations and client engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of complex solution selling experience in building automation, energy efficiency, and critical facility/data center environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing BMS, automation, or facility performance projects of $5M or more.
  • Experience working with engineers, contractors, and utility incentive programs.
  • Knowledge and experience with OEM building control platforms, automation architecture, and integration strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce (or comparable CRM tools) preferred**.
