Engineering Manager

Mantel is developing the first molten-salt-based carbon capture technology designed to operate at high temperatures in boilers, kilns, and furnaces.
• Lead engineering team building, hiring, training, and mentoring engineers.
• Initiate and lead engineering projects to develop new carbon capture systems and processes.
• Set project budgets and timelines and track project progress with reports for leadership.
• Support engineers in testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup of prototype and industrial process equipment.
• Collaborate with EPCs, contractors, OEMs, internal project development, partner site engineers, and external partners to ensure successful project execution and system integration.
• Optimize engineering processes and system performance for scalability.
• Provide critical decision making to avoid impasses.

Engineer

• Mantel is developing molten-salt-based carbon capture technology designed to operate at high temperatures in boilers, kilns, furnaces; enabling efficient carbon capture
• Role: Plant Performance Process Engineer to design, build, commission, and operate Mantel’s first-of-a-kind systems
• Collaborate with engineers and EPCs on process modeling, data gaps, validation testing, startup/shutdown procedures, and cross-discipline coordination
• Overtime and extended travel during startup and commissioning of units are required
