Mantel is developing the first molten-salt-based carbon capture technology designed to operate at high temperatures in boilers, kilns, and furnaces.
Lead engineering team building, hiring, training, and mentoring engineers.
Initiate and lead engineering projects to develop new carbon capture systems and processes.
Set project budgets and timelines and track project progress with reports for leadership.
Support engineers in testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup of prototype and industrial process equipment.
Collaborate with EPCs, contractors, OEMs, internal project development, partner site engineers, and external partners to ensure successful project execution and system integration.
Optimize engineering processes and system performance for scalability.
Provide critical decision making to avoid impasses.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position.;Experience in hiring, training, and managing engineering teams in a high-tech or industrial environment.;Experience in collaborating with EPCs, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.;Experience with construction, commissioning, and startup of industrial process equipment.;Desired: Experience with high-temperature processes, molten salts, metals, or fluids.;Desired: PMP certified or comparable leadership training;Desired: Degree in core engineering field such as mechanical, process, and/or I&C
