About the role
- The Sales Account Manager serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers
- Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities
- Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and AR performance
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities
- Must maintain detailed knowledge of both current and targeted profitability by product group and customer
- Will be responsible for development and successful implementation of innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers
- Serves as the primary managerial contact for OE/OES filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as all appropriate organizations within M+H are effectively managed
- Must be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally of M+H organization in support of key projects
- Account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other technical/business-related field
- 5-10 years’ experience in OE/OES Sales and/or Category Management
- Experience managing Stellantis and GM accounts
- Experience in outside sales with OEMs, or Tier 1 Automotive/Truck suppliers
- Current passport and visa
- Excellent verbal and written English communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Efficiency using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel up to 25% (mostly domestic)
- Disciplined and able to work well under pressure
- Previous sales experience in passenger car and OEM on-highway markets, as well as filtration is highly desired
