About the role
- As European SIOP Manager, you are responsible for executing and continuously optimizing the regional SIOP process within the Transportation BU.
- You ensure reliable demand forecasting, efficient inventory planning, and balanced use of production and supplier capacities.
- In doing so, you make an important contribution to the financial and operational performance of the European sites.
- Ensure targeted parts availability in the distribution centers.
- Key responsibilities include preparing, conducting, and following up on SIOP meetings.
- Implement improvement projects and train new process participants.
- Cross-functional coordination of planning activities.
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Materials Management
- Several years of experience in building, managing, and optimizing SIOP processes, preferably within the automotive industry
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP IBP modules, with a focus on IBP for SOP
- Solid understanding of demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes from multiple sources
- Very good skills in the Microsoft Office suite and relevant ERP systems
- Excellent process knowledge in demand planning and forecasting
- Knowledge of M+H products and manufacturing processes is desirable
- Fluent German and English
