About the role
- Hair-obsessed beauty-lover looking to break into the world of marketing? Mane by Jen Atkin is hiring a paid intern to gain exposure across marketing functions Opportunity to get hands-on, multi-functional experience across Brand Marketing, Social Media, Retail Marketing, Communications, Experiential, and Influencer Marketing Potential to be hired full-time at the end of the internship pending headcount Must be currently studying a relevant field at a university/design school or be a recent grad Interested in a career in Marketing, Digital, Communications, or related field Local LA resident required and able to work hybrid WFH/in-office (Mid-Wilshire) Committed to at least 20 hours/week during fall semester; come into Mid-Wilshire office 2-3 days/week Assist with brand & product marketing tasks: build campaign decks, deliver briefs, coordinate timelines, monitor trends, track competitors Support social & influencer marketing: brainstorm content, engage communities, creator outreach, manage databases, plan local creator events Assist experiential marketing planning and execution and attend events Work with digital marketing: build email flows, update DTC site, write blog articles, enhance HeyMane.com Manage marketing inventory and place orders Support cross-functional teams across office admin, brand marketing, integrated marketing, influencer marketing, PR, social, digital, and creative
Requirements
- Your Qualities: Knowledgeable and obsessed re: hair (even hands-on internship or retail experience is a plus!) You’re hands-on, solution-oriented, analytical + creative, and a great relationship builder Strong communicator – both verbal & written Stellar at stylin’ spreadsheets and doin’ decks Able to navigate start-up vibes A juggler amongst multiple projects while maintaining a clear sense of priorities 1-year related experience a plus – can be from internships, working in retail, etc.
