About the role

  • Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, lead a UK-based team of four accountants
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue recognition, order intake and order book reporting
  • Prepare, submit, and consolidate financial data for reporting to the KKR Group
  • Oversee half-year and annual statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Review and analyze consolidated management accounts for ~60 legal entities
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and group reporting
  • Maintain and improve finance master data and reporting structures within the ERP
  • Drive continuous improvement and collaboration, identifying efficiency opportunities

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years’ experience in senior financial reporting and consolidation roles
  • Proven people leader with experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including solid hands-on experience with IFRS, statutory reporting, and consolidation
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with exceptional Excel skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Confident and persuasive communicator, skilled at presenting complex financial and technical topics
  • Systems-savvy finance professional, comfortable working with modern accounting and reporting tools; experience with SAP S/4HANA and consolidation tools such as SAP Analytics is a strong advantage
  • Experience in a global, matrix organisation, ideally within a manufacturing or operationally complex environment
