About the role
- Build and deepen relationships with MFDA advisors across assigned regions, driving awareness, education, and adoption of PICTON’s investment strategies
- Execute a disciplined, territory-based approach to advisor coverage, sales activity, and pipeline development
- Deliver high-quality advisor education through one-on-one meetings, branch presentations, and regional events
- Support advisor-level due diligence, education initiatives, and ongoing relationship management
- Work closely with the National Accounts team to align field execution with dealer-level strategies, approvals, and priorities
- Develop and execute a targeted MFDA sales strategy aligned with PICTON’s broader retail growth objectives
- Represent PICTON at MFDA-focused industry events, dealer conferences, and advisor forums
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services sales, with direct experience working with MFDA advisors
- Strong understanding of the MFDA landscape, including dealer structures, advisor business models, and compliance considerations
- Proven ability to drive advisor adoption and asset growth within approved dealer platforms
- Experience working collaboratively with National Accounts or Head Office teams to support dealer-level strategies
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing strategically
- Experience selling alternative or differentiated investment strategies is a strong asset
- CSC required; CIM, CFA, CAIA or other advanced designations are an asset
- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset
- Willingness to travel nationally to support advisor engagement.
