About the role

  • Build and deepen relationships with MFDA advisors across assigned regions, driving awareness, education, and adoption of PICTON’s investment strategies
  • Execute a disciplined, territory-based approach to advisor coverage, sales activity, and pipeline development
  • Deliver high-quality advisor education through one-on-one meetings, branch presentations, and regional events
  • Support advisor-level due diligence, education initiatives, and ongoing relationship management
  • Work closely with the National Accounts team to align field execution with dealer-level strategies, approvals, and priorities
  • Develop and execute a targeted MFDA sales strategy aligned with PICTON’s broader retail growth objectives
  • Represent PICTON at MFDA-focused industry events, dealer conferences, and advisor forums

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services sales, with direct experience working with MFDA advisors
  • Strong understanding of the MFDA landscape, including dealer structures, advisor business models, and compliance considerations
  • Proven ability to drive advisor adoption and asset growth within approved dealer platforms
  • Experience working collaboratively with National Accounts or Head Office teams to support dealer-level strategies
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing strategically
  • Experience selling alternative or differentiated investment strategies is a strong asset
  • CSC required; CIM, CFA, CAIA or other advanced designations are an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset
  • Willingness to travel nationally to support advisor engagement.
