About the role

  • Support the Product Development Process (PDP) for MAHLE projects from assigned customer(s) and products.
  • Represent MAHLE at the assigned customer(s) for technical occasions.
  • Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow both from customer to MAHLE and vice versa
  • Coordinate activities in the event of a pending milestone to establish a recovery plan and notify customer
  • Coordinate the product development projects from the design phase and into production.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and follow company’s strategies, goals and missions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from a four year college or university.
  • 7+ years experience or training within Applications Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple account/customer relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development required
  • Good general base automotive technical knowledge, including powertrains, vehicle testing, and MAHLE’s product suite
  • Familiarity with OEM product development systems and processes required.
