About the role

  • Develop and maintain a product line.
  • Maintain publication data and support creation of technical literature.
  • Understanding of the automotive aftermarket, especially the heavy duty (HD) segment.
  • Perform research of the OE and aftermarket competitors’ catalogs and components for information regarding new parts additions.
  • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications.
  • Coordinate the development of all new product programs.
  • Establish product and material specifications.
  • Maintain close liaison with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering.
  • Assist field sales personnel with customer needs and requirements.
  • Create mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Technology, Engineering or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Automotive or Aftermarket.
  • 5 years experience in Product Management in the Heavy Duty industry is required.
  • Working knowledge of internal combustion engines, engine sealing product design and materials.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge required in computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints desired.
  • International experience is preferred.
