About the role
- Lead cross‑functional product development projects from planning through mass production.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Develop internal project plans based on customer product development timelines.
- Drive project execution ensuring cross‑functional alignment across engineering, production technology, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Manage project schedules, define milestones, monitor delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee task progress management, identifying bottlenecks and facilitating issue resolution.
- Lead risk management activities, including early identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
- Perform resource management, including effort estimation, workload balancing, and team assignment coordination.
- Facilitate project meetings, technical reviews, and status reporting to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Professional experience in project management or related roles in product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Business level Japanese proficiency
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general PC skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
