About the role

  • Support failure analysis, troubleshooting of material and processing issues
  • Evaluation of new and existing suppliers
  • Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement of material-processing efficiency
  • Participate in product failure analysis
  • Troubleshoot material processing problems
  • Evaluate potential and existing material suppliers’ processes
  • Customer interaction with materials or quality related issues
  • Corrective action report generation support
  • Determine methods of remediation for suspect material
  • Act as a resource for improving material processing efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain effective procedures for materials production/evaluation
  • Maintain and communicate departmental metrics/KPI
  • Maintain Gage calibration
  • Document control maintenance
  • Stay current on MSA Standards
  • Metallurgical analysis/testing
  • Maintain and support Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • IATF 16949 Experience
  • IATF 16949 Auditor Certification
  • IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, specifically within Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
