About the role

  • Manage and analyze product costs to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Support business decisions and enhance cost efficiency within the automotive manufacturing environment
  • Prepare and calculate costing for current products and new model introductions
  • Prepare comprehensive cost studies for new projects
  • Create MSP calculations and other related costing analyses in FACTON
  • Provide support in annual budget preparation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing
  • Prepare reports and other costing- and accounting-related documentation
  • Input required data into MOI format
  • Calculate loss-marking contracts at the end of June and November
  • Record OC calculation schemes for IFRS reporting related to loss-marking contracts
  • Conduct quarterly and annual inventory checks with other divisions
  • Conduct random tagging of inventory following issuance of inventory check results
  • Support auditors and the Revenue Department with costing and inventory reports
  • Prepare monthly reports for Cash Flow and Performance Lift
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in costing or cost calculation
  • Proficiency in SAP is required
  • Good communication skills in English, with fluent Thai proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Background in New Project Cost Calculation is preferred
  • Engineering experience related to Project Cost Calculation or Cost Control is an advantage
  • Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Thermal and Fluid Systems (Thailand) Co., Ltd. – Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya
