About the role

  • Responsible for corporate acts for the entire group, involving joint-stock companies (S.A.) and limited liability companies (Ltda.).
  • Create various procedures related to corporate matters.
  • Draft corporate documents and minutes, including changes of address, changes to share capital, amendments to the articles of association or bylaws, and other necessary actions, and monitor their filing with the respective commercial registries.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with the company’s internal clients.
  • Monitor legislative and jurisprudential changes relevant to the sector.
  • Manage external law firms to ensure proper progress of tax litigation.
  • Reduce the tax litigation portfolio through analysis of legal arguments for active cases.
  • Stay committed to the occupational health and safety system, following established rules and procedures to comply with company policy.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of quality and continuous improvement programs, following procedures, identifying potential improvements and helping implement them.
  • Maintain commitment to the quality management and environmental management systems, following established procedures to comply with company policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law with active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association)
  • Specialization in Corporate Law and/or Tax Law preferred
  • Advanced or fluent English
  • Experience with corporate matters involving S.A. entities, preferably in publicly listed companies
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (4x1) in Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo
