About the role
- Operate and maintain IT systems and applications in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Operations Manuals
- Handle request fulfilment activities, including user access and account management
- Support incident management to minimize service interruptions and ensure agreed OLA and SLA targets are met
- Perform hardware replacements and support for end-user devices (PCs, printers, scanners, mobile phones, etc.)
- Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information is accurate and kept up to date
- Identify potential automation opportunities and actively support their implementation
- Implement and maintain monitoring for IT infrastructure components and applications based on defined procedures
- Support the change management process by executing approved changes on IT infrastructure and applications
- Perform patch management activities and support the deployment of new releases
- Analyze system failures, resolve issues, and restore services following incidents or breakdowns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical education in IT or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT operations or similar role
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
- Native Italian speaker with good English skills, sufficient to work with technical documentation (minimum B1 level).
