About the role

  • Operate and maintain IT systems and applications in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Operations Manuals
  • Handle request fulfilment activities, including user access and account management
  • Support incident management to minimize service interruptions and ensure agreed OLA and SLA targets are met
  • Perform hardware replacements and support for end-user devices (PCs, printers, scanners, mobile phones, etc.)
  • Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information is accurate and kept up to date
  • Identify potential automation opportunities and actively support their implementation
  • Implement and maintain monitoring for IT infrastructure components and applications based on defined procedures
  • Support the change management process by executing approved changes on IT infrastructure and applications
  • Perform patch management activities and support the deployment of new releases
  • Analyze system failures, resolve issues, and restore services following incidents or breakdowns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical education in IT or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT operations or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
  • Native Italian speaker with good English skills, sufficient to work with technical documentation (minimum B1 level).
