About the role
- Assist with production control, measurement, and planning
- Provide task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes
- Develop PFMEA’s, Control Plans, etc. for successful launch of programs
- Ensure newly developed parts and tooling are correctly installed and functioning properly
- Re-engineer components until producing desired results
- Collaborate with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions
- Develop, plan and model alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components
- Recommend implementation of improved procedures and process improvements
- Identify and develop tooling to reduce cycle time, costs and/or operator problems
- Prepare reports concerning departmental activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- One to three years of Industrial Production Control, Measurement, and Planning experience
- Knowledge of PFMEA’s and Control Plans
- APIS Software preferred
- SAP experience preferred
