About the role
- Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality & Customer standards
- Manage project teams, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Working in coordination with other regional and international colleagues and providing them with regular updates
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling pricing and customer-related data
- In time Escalation process is to be followed to management level
- Handling the customers as a single point of contact for project management
- Budget & Cost Control: Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and addressing deviations
- Interaction with customers for understanding the requirements & updating the status of projects
Requirements
- BE/B. Tech. (Mech/Automobile/Production)
- Minimum 8-to-12 years’ experience in project management / Engineering role in automotive industry
- Prefer the knowledge and experience of machining precision automotive components, like Camshaft, Crankshaft etc.…
- Preference will be given for the knowledge of critical assembly process (like assembled camshaft or other automotive assemblies)
- Involvement / experience in domestic or international relocation activity for machining plant
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, GD&T, drawings, APQP, PPAP etc.…
- Strong computer skills, including MS office – Tools like, Strong Excel knowledge and data management skill, PPT, SAP
- Excellent communication skills: (written and verbal) to effectively convey information to stakeholders and team members
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills: prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Leadership and interpersonal skills: to motivate and guide teams, build relationships, and manage conflict
- Customer focused, results oriented & logical thinker.
