About the role
- Introduce MagicSchool to smaller K-12 school districts and establish presence
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve booking targets
- Close deals to meet quota and drive bookings
- Cultivate relationships with superintendent cabinet members to drive consensus and procurement
- Leverage district successes to expand into neighboring districts
- Manage procurement, evaluation, negotiation processes including legal, RFPs, pilots, and POCs
- Collaborate with product, finance, success, marketing, and other teams to customize offerings
Requirements
- Top seller in previous years
- Experience with EdTech sales
- Preference to reside in the Pacific Time Zone (role preference stated)
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with superintendent cabinet members
- Experience navigating complex procurement, legal, RFPs, pilots, and POCs
- Strong execution orientation, networking, leadership, and vision (traits listed)
