Financial Planning and Analysis

• Magic Spoon reimagines childhood breakfast favorites with more protein, less sugar, and more fun
• Finance team provides cross-functional partnership, leveraging insights and analysis to support rapid growth
• Full time, in-person/hybrid role (Tues, Weds, Thursday in office) based in Tribeca, NYC
• Serve as the primary finance business partner to sales, marketing, and innovation teams, providing operational and strategic analysis
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews with Sr Leadership on consolidated, channel/customer segment performance
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate promotional effectiveness, marketing ROI, and overall commercial performance
• Partner with sales to evaluate customer and channel profitability, optimize product mix, and refine pricing strategies; own customer- and category-level P&Ls
• Leverage trade promotion planning and management systems to analyze and maximize customer or channel profitability
• Lead the monthly business review process for the commercial team and manage commercial portion of monthly rolling forecast and LV process
• Participate in Stagegate with robust financial models for innovation and renovation agendas and assist in driving project P&Ls
• Identify and quantify risks & opportunities for the commercial team and partner with leadership to analyze business scenarios
• Drive profit & cost optimization initiatives through data-driven analysis and recommendations
• Create and maintain dashboards for key business metrics
• Support annual budgeting process and monthly reforecast process
• Lead special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
