About the role

  • To provide London Stansted with an essential customer focused identity management and access control service ensuring that all persons being granted access to the airports Critical Part, Airside areas and other Landside controlled areas meet the required MAG security standards and any regulatory requirements specified by the Department for Transport (DfT).
  • To authenticate all information received in connection with individual ID pass applications and maintain appropriate ongoing access amendment for pass holders.
  • Ensure correct recording of all data within data protection guidelines and the correct application of current security standards and regulations specified by the DfT to fully comply with all requirements.
  • Provide speedy resolution to stakeholder requests and the building of excellent relationships with all interested parties.

Requirements

  • Keyboard skills and the ability to use bespoke computer packages is essential.
  • Holder must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous customer service experience is essential.
  • Holder must have, or be able to obtain, CTC clearance.
  • Trained in Access Control in line with DfT syllabus.
  • Knowledge of the MAG ID Standard, relevant security regulations and directions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of London Stansted's operational requirements is desirable.
  • Understanding of Windows based PC applications is desirable.
  • Knowledge of London Stansted Airport layout is desirable.
