About the role

  • Developing In-Depth Product Knowledge : Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Macrobond's product line, including its functionality, design, and benefits.
  • Customer Engagement : Interacting with customers to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products.
  • Product Demonstrations : Conducting product demonstrations or presentations to clients and potential customers.
  • Marketing Support : Assisting in the creation of promotional materials and product marketing strategies.
  • Sales Collaboration : Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve sales objectives.
  • Pre-Sale Support : Providing pre-sale support and feedback to customers.
  • Market Monitoring : Keeping an eye on market trends and competitor products.
  • Training : Training other staff members about the product details.
  • Product Development : Assisting in product development and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Issue Resolution : Resolving product-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience working in the Financial Services, Market/Financial Data (ideally), or financial industry at large in a technical role e.g. researcher, analyst, economist, pre-sales, or product/market specialist.
  • Eager to learn and thrive in a client-facing, technically involved role.
  • A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills; having the ability to convey complex ideas simply and concisely.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented—working knowledge of Python, R, or another scripting language is a plus (especially for our Web API offering).
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solution focused.
