About the role

  • Prepare half‑year and full‑year statutory financial statements in line with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
  • Deliver high‑quality management and executive reporting, including the monthly Executive Trading Pack
  • Lead group consolidations and support complex technical accounting matters
  • Partner closely with auditors and manage audit deliverables
  • Maintain strong balance sheet governance, including review of key reconciliations and controls
  • Act as a subject matter expert on accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to sustainability and climate‑related financial reporting (including AASB S2)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting, controls and processes
  • Build effective working relationships across Finance, FP&A, Tax, Payroll and senior commercial stakeholders

Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualification (essential)
  • Background in Big 4 or mid‑tier audit (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience across statutory reporting, technical accounting and group consolidations and audit
  • Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work confidently with senior finance leaders
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in sustainability / climate‑related reporting
