About the role
- Work on projects and transactions involving natural gas, biomethane and other regulated sectors.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts (IA, SHA, JDA).
- Support for M&A transactions, project finance and conducting regulatory and contractual due diligence.
- Regulatory analysis and monitoring before the ANP, environmental agencies and other sectoral authorities.
- Preparation of memoranda, legal opinions and advisory notes on regulatory, contractual and infrastructure matters.
- Interface with stakeholders across the gas value chain, including maritime, port and integrated logistics sectors.
- Support clients in strategic decisions, risk mitigation and structuring infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Law degree, 3–6 years post-graduation.
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Advanced/Fluent English.
- Previous experience in regulated sectors and/or the energy sector.
- Advantage: prior experience in natural gas or biomethane.
