About the role
- Provide geospatial and survey expertise on sales calls
- Run and tailor technical product demonstrations for prospects
- Own the technical evaluation process for customer projects
- Own customer onboarding and training through remote and onsite sessions
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers
- Represent Mach9 at trade shows and industry groups
- Partner with Marketing on surveying industry content
- Support Engineering, Product, and Design as internal geospatial expert
- Build and maintain onboarding frameworks and training content
Requirements
- 10+ years of surveying or geospatial experience
- Strong preference for candidates with LiDAR data collection and feature extraction expertise
- Proficiency with commonly used CAD and GIS platforms (e.g. Bentley Microstation, Autodesk Civil 3D)
- Familiarity with major surveying hardware, software, and key industry trends
- Strong understanding of survey data formats and workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consultative mindset with a track record of solving complex customer problems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
