Software Engineer

• Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals and plans for the regional hire team that align with the company strategy
• Lead and manage the regional engineering team to ensure they have the necessary resources, tools and training to deliver projects and meet the company objectives
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations overseeing the development and implementation of appropriate engineering processes and procedures
• Monitor performance metrics to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Work closely with the operational & sales teams to identify and address customer needs and develop technical solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Collaborate with the wider company to identify emerging technologies, products and trends that may impact and develop strategies to incorporate these into our products and services
• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, industry associations and other external stakeholders to promote Mabey Hires engineering capabilities and foster collaboration and innovation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed to the required quality standards
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation including recruitment and retention
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, technologies and practices to optimise performance, cost and customer satisfaction
