About the role
- **Core Responsibilities**
- **Competitive Intelligence Leadership**
- - Developing and maintaining a structured competitive intelligence program including win/loss
- - Analyzing competitors’ product capabilities, roadmap signals, AI positioning, and go-to-market strategies
- - Monitoring, aggregating, synthesizing and communicating market trends and emerging AI use cases relevant to M-Files
- - Delivering clear, actionable insights to product management, go-to-market teams and leadership
- **AI-Focused Market Analysis**
- - Assessing competitive positioning in AI-driven automation, content intelligence, and enterprise information management
- - Identifying competitive gaps and opportunities aligned with Board-level priorities
- - Partnering with Product Management to translate findings into roadmap recommendations
- **Sales Enablement**
- - Creating and maintaining battlecards, objection-handling guides, and competitive messaging
- - Supporting Sales with deal-specific competitive insights when needed
- - Conducting internal training sessions to improve competitive fluency
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- - Acting as the bridge between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Services on competitive topics
- - Ensuring messaging reflects current product capabilities and roadmap direction
- - Sharing structured insights with leadership on competitive risks and opportunities
Requirements
- ** What We Are Looking For**
- - 3-4 years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, product strategy, consulting, or similar roles
- - Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations
- - Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-related technologies
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- - Hands-on, self-starter mindset - comfortable building processes from the ground up
- **Preferred**
- - Prior experience in the DMS/ECM market
- - Background in enterprise software or B2B SaaS
- - Experience creating sales enablement materials (battlecards, competitive decks, win/loss summaries)
