About the role
- As a Project Manager (m/f/d) on the Online team, you act as the central interface between clients, technology teams and internal departments.
- You are responsible for planning, managing and successfully executing our projects — from initial development through on-site implementation at some of the world’s largest congresses.
- You help ensure our platform solutions are tailored, reliable and user-centered.
- End-to-end project responsibility: plan, manage and deliver digital platform and SaaS projects from initiation to successful go-live in virtual and hybrid formats.
- AI integration & product strategy: you apply your understanding of modern AI technologies to advise clients confidently and to implement AI-powered features meaningfully within our projects.
- In this role you coordinate relevant stakeholders and ensure that AI-based solutions are implemented efficiently, with a user focus and in alignment with our product strategy.
- Client consulting & support: proactive client support, establishing project structures, and expectation and objective management.
- Stakeholder & team coordination: you act as the link between development, UX/design, support, sales and external partners — communication and alignment are central.
- Resource & time planning: define project scope, milestones, workflows, MVP goals and priorities.
- Quality assurance & controlling: ensure deliverable quality, budget and schedule control, and risk management.
- Optimization & reporting: continuously improve processes, workflows and project standards through reports, lessons learned and KPI tracking.
- Tool management: use modern project and collaboration tools to enable efficient management and transparency.
Requirements
- Experience in digital project management — ideally with SaaS platforms, online products or complex web services
- Confident use of digital tools for planning, documentation and communication
- Understanding of agile methodologies and structured, result-oriented project leadership
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence in German (C2) and English (C1)
- Strong self-organisation and a structured working style, even during dynamic project phases
- Strong results orientation, sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and supporting international clients
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within Germany and Europe.
