Full-stack Engineer

• Architect, Builder, Mentor This role is designed for a "force multiplier"—someone who writes excellent code but creates even more value by enabling the team around them. It is an ideal launchpad for those looking to progress their career in either direction (towards a Staff/Principal Engineer or a management track).
• Technical Authority: You are the guardian of the technical vision. You will lead system design sessions, own the architecture for complex features, and make the hard calls on technical trade-offs.
• Hands-on Delivery: You will be in the codebase daily. Whether it's building the skeleton of a new service, refactoring a legacy bottleneck, or pairing with engineers to unblock them, you lead from the front.
• Mentorship over Management: You are responsible for technical growth—mentoring engineers, design pairing and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Strategic Alignment: You will collaborate with Product and Engineering Leadership to define a 6-month product and technical roadmap that aligns with business goals.
• Within your first 3 months, you will:
• Impact: Ship meaningful features or optimisation that impacts our 160M+ users.
• System Ownership: Assess our current architecture and CI/CD practices, identifying a number of key areas for improvement.
• Delivery: Assess your team's agile ceremonies, practices and tooling; begin implementing iterative changes to improve velocity and happiness.
• Leadership: Establish yourself as the "go-to" technical voice for Product and other Stakeholders, bridging the gap between business requirements and engineering reality.

Lead Engineer

Platform Engineer

• Deployment: orchestrating Terraform, Docker and GitHub to enable our engineers to deploy the code for our 200+ applications, services and APIs
• Automation: managing systems programmatically and building tooling to enable engineers to manage their infrastructure, metrics and code declaratively; providing a simple, consistent experience that lets them focus on product value
• Scale: Bringing Lyst to a billion requests per month, using Cloudflare, AWS and Kubernetes to run Lyst at a huge, distributed scale efficiently
• Monitoring and alerting: measuring application performance and delivering insights, metrics and relevant alerts to the engineering teams with ELK, Grafana and New Relic
• Ownership: driving engineering teams to own their infrastructure and costs by building great tooling, visibility and documentation
• Security: Setting the standards for fine-grained access to systems and applications to allow automated access control and support auditing requirements

• **The Role******
• As a Product Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of our Analytics Chapter, embedded directly with our Product squads. This isn't just a reporting role; you will be the driving force behind our experimentation culture, using data to answer our biggest questions and guide the evolution of the Lyst experience. You will own the entire experimentation lifecycle, from ideation and design to analysis and strategic recommendations, ultimately influencing what millions of shoppers see every day.

• - **Champion Experimentation:** You will be a key part of Lyst’s A/B testing framework across web and app. You will set the standard for excellence, continuously improving our practices and ensuring statistical rigour in everything we do.
• - **Drive Strategy: **Go beyond individual tests to answer broad strategic questions. You'll partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to identify key opportunities, conduct impact analysis, and help shape the product roadmap.

• Lead the development and maintenance of features (both client-side and server-side) critical to our e-commerce platform.
• The primary development stack involves Python (using the Django framework) for the backend and JavaScript/TypeScript (with React) for the frontend.
• Build features that gracefully integrate with internal/external APIs and services.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from initial technical design and planning through to production deployment, ensuring measurable business impact.
• Author dependable, highly tested code, utilizing tools like pytest, Jest with React Testing Library, Storybook, and Cypress for complete coverage.
• Ensure platform performance and stability by actively leveraging observability tools.
• Promote engineering excellence by creating high-quality, practical documentation.
• Our infrastructure is entirely hosted on AWS; you will work hands-on with services such as Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, SQS, SNS, and S3.

Senior Full Stack Engineer

• We're looking for a new engineer to join our Checkout Integrations squad to help Lyst work on transforming the shopping experience of fashion lovers.
• You will work closely with our current engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to develop new product features.
• As a member of the checkout integration team, you’ll work on the backend of the checkout processing pipeline, collaborating with payment and e-commerce integrations.
• The team is responsible for ensuring smooth, reliable order processing with our retailers’ integrations to ensure the development of our new Marketplace.
• We are data-driven and make decisions based on empirical results. You share the data mindset, can suggest pragmatic experiments to prove a hypothesis, and are willing to be proven wrong by data.
• Your role will be to drive technical improvements and innovations to the system through partnering with your product manager and tech leadership.

• Own all People admin across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, via our HRIS (HiBob)
• Act as the first point of contact for People-related queries, providing timely and helpful support
• Support the Office Manager with general office admin and provide reception cover when needed
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to People Ops processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
