About the role
- Partnership with the business to ensure the delivery of HR strategies at the local level.
- Build capabilities to operationalize the HR processes and support the line managers with local implementation of changes.
- Advise line managers on organizational structures and processes to ensure that the HR implications of change programs are considered and planned for.
- Provide insightful management information (HR data) to Leadership teams to ensure Resourcing and Talent Management is addressed appropriately.
- Deliver targeted performance improvement interventions at individual and team levels.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Facilitate interventions with client population, e.g., team development.
- Knowledge of Dutch labour law.
- Maintains required knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Act as a positive role model and company representative representing the values, integrity and ethic of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM) preferred.
- 5–8 years HR business partner experience in a dynamic, international or matrix organization.
- Proved ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, manage issues, identify and mitigate risks while positively influencing future strategy and direction of the department.
- Ability to collaborate, influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to understand key HR business drivers and processes.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP, payroll and/or any other related tools, including MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to discern critical priorities.
- Fluent in English both written and oral, preferably Dutch or one other European language.
