About the role
- Independently plan, manage and lead projects in production, logistics, maintenance and quality from initiation and concept development through to successful final acceptance and commissioning
- Implement and integrate digitization, automation and robotics solutions with interfaces to IT
- Analyze existing processes and identify optimization potential
- Integrate process engineering with modern technologies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners
- Ensure project objectives with respect to schedule, cost and quality
- Train and support business units during the implementation of new systems
- Act as deputy to the Logistics Manager in Kerpen during their absence
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar)
- Solid knowledge of digitization, automation, control engineering and robotics
- Experience in process analysis and optimization
- Ability to implement complex technical solutions in practice
- Project management skills and cross-functional thinking
- Proven track record in project delivery
- Extensive experience working with SAP and MES systems
- Knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement (KVP/CIP)
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Good German and English skills
