About the role
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to the company’s HSE policy and procedures and within Indian legislation
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out at maximum efficiency, promote improvement in work practices led to better HSE performance, quality and achieved the maintenance KPI’s
- Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance Plan and Predictive Maintenance plan for related equipment
- Maintain records and documentation for equipment, spare parts and performance records necessary to keep the plant performance at a high level
- Provide constructive idea and solution to the related equipment with its hidden design flaws, influence of the production efficiency and HSE issues
- Provide technical support to solve the Equipment Emergency fault and organize the technicians to analysis and find out the root cause of the failure
- Ensure that relevant equipment inspections / calibrations required by the company’s quality, safety and environmental procedures and Indian legislations are completed on time
- New project and equipment introduced follow-ups closely and make the mechanical acceptance go smoothly and effectively
- Maintenance Cost manage and follow-up under budget
- Continuously improve production process and facilities to meet EHS requirement, enhance productivity and reduce production cost
- OE and GAIS procedure and standard are maintained in a high level
- Train the staff in routine maintenance and production tasks
- Maintain documentation to comply with the ISO-9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016,EMS 14001, certification process and also manage the certification audits
Requirements
- Education: High school graduation, technical secondary school or above, in electrical Engineering
- Experience of 10 Years with Degree or 15 years with Diploma
- Work Experience: 15 years in Maintenance department from multi-national Chemical / Engineering company
- Have strong HSE sense & housekeeping awareness
- Be familiar with PLC and DRIVE operation
- Be familiar with mechanical automation, electrical diagram, UPS and LED touch panel maintenance and operation
- Strong team work spirit
- Hands on Experience on AC drives Siemens PLC and Automation
- Good knowledge of Utilities and Lab Equipment’s
- Hands on Experience on Maintenance of Electrical part for Extruder machinery and feeders, pelletizing system, conveying system, accessories
- Hands on experience on Electrical Project Installations
- Knowledge of DG set operations and Installations with Tamil Nadu Govt. rules & Regulations
- Knowledge for Compliance to Electrical Inspector and required regulations with TNEB Board
- Knowledge for Compliance to Inspector and required regulations with TNPCB Board
- Be familiar with management process of equipment and accessories, be able to analysis root cause of problem and fix basic/regular problems independently
- Be familiar with all Utility equipment’s like Transformer, MV Panel, VCB, ACB, DG, Compressor, Cooling tower, STP, ETP, RO plant system, DE/FE/CVS system and firefighting system
- Licenses & Certifications: Certificate from Industrial Training Institute for Trade Fitter and Electrician Certification on special equipment after safety trainings by government
