About the role

  • Manage clients' networks and analyze data traffic.
  • Perform low-complexity configurations of routers, switches, antennas and servers.

  • Monitor and analyze network data traffic to identify patterns, trends, performance bottlenecks, potential security threats, and other issues related to data flow.
  • Perform actions and analyses to optimize clients' network performance.
  • Identify network issues and take corrective measures when necessary.
  • Perform basic configurations of routers, switches, antennas and servers:
  • Assign IP addresses, configure VLANs (Virtual LANs), set security policies, among others.
  • Ensure proper connectivity and functionality of devices.
  • Provide technical support to clients, helping to resolve issues related to network connectivity, device configuration, and other infrastructure-related problems.
  • Diagnose problems and perform troubleshooting on clients' networks.
  • Resolve network incidents for clients and provide guidance and technical assistance when required.
  • Manage and implement software and firmware updates on network devices such as routers, switches, and others.
  • Ensure that all client devices are updated with the latest security fixes, patches, and features.
  • Ensure network performance and stability.
  • Assist in technical documentation related to network infrastructure, including network diagrams, configuration procedures, security policies, and more.
  • Keep documentation accurate and current to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency in network management and operations.
  • Perform low-complexity simulations in a controlled environment.
  • Build test environments and present solution alternatives.
  • Build test environments, create test cases and test networks and data communication to locate issues with servers, infrastructure and installations, access and communication, and correct errors.
  • Control access to data and resources.

Requirements

  • Experience providing customer service via phone, email and WhatsApp.
  • Familiarity with testing and measurement tools (MTR, Ping, tracert, SpeedTest, nslookup, among others) and the ability to interpret results for troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana or similar).
  • Knowledge of IT, technology and telecommunications.
  • Education level: Completed high school plus qualification courses (with certificate and minimum 200 hours) or completed higher education (bachelor's or technology degree).
  • Mandatory courses: Mikrotik - MTCNA and MTCRE, and ITIL.
  • Minimum: 3 months of customer service experience via phone, email and WhatsApp.
  • Minimum: 3 months of familiarity with testing and measurement tools (MTR, Ping, tracert, SpeedTest, nslookup, among others) and interpreting results for troubleshooting.
  • Minimum: 3 months of familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana or similar).
