About the role
- Co-create, in partnership with the UX/UI designer, a Tableau Design System, defining reusable components, visual patterns, and implementation standards;
- Translate design concepts into technically viable implementations, ensuring adherence to UX/UI guidelines and the company's visual identity;
- Document development guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and reproducibility across different projects and teams;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices;
- Drive the company's data maturity.
Requirements
- Experience with Tableau;
- Deep knowledge of Tableau objects (charts, tables, filters, parameters, containers, etc.) and their settings, behaviors, and limitations;
- Familiarity with Tableau performance considerations — understanding which objects or design patterns affect speed and scalability;
- Knowledge of Tableau customization features (formatting, interactivity, calculated fields, extensions, etc.);
- Knowledge of Tableau-recommended best practices and development patterns for dashboards;
- Experience collaborating on design systems;
- Ability to translate design concepts into technically viable Tableau implementations;
- Experience documenting Tableau development guidelines and standards for other developers to follow;
- Proficiency in SQL for data preparation and transformation.
