About the role
- Data Collection and Integration:
- Efficiently integrate multiple data sources (SQL, APIs, Excel, and others), consolidating data into clear, actionable analytical structures.
- Advanced Data Modeling:
- Design robust dimensional models and optimized measures in DAX to ensure deep, contextualized analysis.
- Interactive, Strategic Dashboards:
- Develop intuitive Power BI reports that translate complex data into fast, decision-oriented insights.
- Performance and Optimization:
- Continuously refine queries and data architecture to ensure smooth performance and scalability of solutions.
- Deployment and Governance in Power BI Service:
- Publish reports, manage security, scheduling, and sharing to ensure reliable access to key information.
- Ongoing Maintenance and Evolution:
- Actively monitor dashboards in production, making adjustments and enhancements as the business context evolves.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience collecting and integrating data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, Excel).
- Knowledge of data modeling and creating measures in DAX.
- Proficiency in Power BI for developing, publishing, and managing dashboards.
- Practical experience optimizing performance and improving queries.
- Familiarity with governance and security in Power BI Service.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with business and IT teams.
- Ability to analyze and translate data into strategic insights.
- Differentials:
- Microsoft Azure data-related certifications.
- Experience with other analytics tools or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
