• Summarize and visualize data findings in clear written reports, slide decks, and dashboards.
• Propose suggestions and improvements to Luminator’s product roadmap based on research insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams to execute research tasks and integrate findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, signage innovations, and relevant standards (e.g. GTFS, NTCIP) to ensure our solutions remain cutting edge.

Product Management Intern – MVS

Field Engineer

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and maintain Luminator’s hardware and software and handle customer questions about the state of the system.
• Implement and assist with install of new equipment on site with customers, providing them on-site training and support.
• Sustain proficiency in all products and services that the company offers. This includes staying current with installations standard methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.
• Provide on-site pre-start-up, start-up, contracted service work, warranty, troubleshooting, and training of Luminator products, and ensure equipment is operational and free of defects.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
• Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasks.
• Handle customer service-related issues while fostering the customer relationship and working to solve technical problems on site.
• Deal directly with and communicate effectively with plant operators, plant management, 3rd party vendors and other Luminator personnel in support of service operations.
• Will advance training content for the Luminator products and systems, supporting technical staff development.
• Develop and provide hands-on training courses at operations as required, specific to the equipment types and local needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment applying own technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems.
• Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasks.
• Review product prints and specifications.
• When required, play an active role in various projects such as upgrades, new installations, or new functionality for customers.

Solutions Engineer

• Build and lead a high‑performing, customer‑centric Solution Engineering organization supporting Commercial, Product, and Operations.
• Define the long‑term vision for technical pre‑sales, solution design, and field‑readiness capabilities.
• Establish scalable processes for surveys, PDIs, technical assessments, SOW development, and solution validation.
• Partner with Commercial leadership to align technical resources with regional priorities and revenue targets.
• Drive revenue growth across maintenance services, spares, upgrades, and major projects through timely, accurate, and compelling technical engagement.
• Implement a presales technician model to accelerate surveys, improve SOW quality, and increase win rates.
• Lead a distributed team of Solution Engineers and Onsite Maintenance Technicians across North America.
• Oversee creation and accuracy of Statements of Work; ensure surveys and site visits are completed efficiently and consistently.
• Support escalations, complex integrations, and high‑visibility deployments.
• Collaborate with Operations and Support to ensure smooth handoffs from pre‑sales to deployment to long‑term service.
