Lead projects independently, including the design, planning, and implementation of projects from initiation through completion
Manage and/or coach members of the consulting team through client engagements, project work, and professional development
Delegate work as appropriate and oversee project progress, quality and client satisfaction
Manage a portfolio of pharma and biotech clients (identifying needs, maintaining up to date knowledge of competitors, strategy and providing insights to guide client decisions and activities and expand Lumanity presence within the client portfolio)
Lead research projects by designing and executing and reviewing final deliverables
Lead strategic planning for clients (assess the situational analysis, competitive environment, available data, and development program to help prioritize client objectives and activities)
Lead scientific advisory boards
Design and facilitate workshops to engage client teams
Lead biotech business development by analyzing client needs, identifying opportunities, delivering presentations and promoting Lumanity's products
Deliver impactful, concise presentations to clients, that incorporate cutting edge data presentation, visualization, and delivery methods
Draft, edit, and proofread blog posts, white papers, and case studies for external distribution
Requirements
A solid scientific background with a clinical focus
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in life sciences (advanced or terminal degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related consulting / communications agency (prior experience in Consulting role or Medical Affairs preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Distinctive business acumen
Able to understand and clearly communicate the clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services
Ability to work proactively and lead associate consultants and consultants
High-value personal qualities: resourceful, responsible, tenacious, independent, and self- confident
Strong management abilities, project planning, staff development, and problem-solving ability
Candidates must be strong team players, take initiative, and think strategically and creatively
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills are required, preferably MAC operating systems
Knowledge of pharmaceutical rules, regulatory law, guidelines and codes (e.g., PhRMA Code) and experience in oncology/immunology preferred
